I shoot a .670 choke with Hevi 13 - 3 inch 2 oz. load of straights 6's or 7's.

Rifle sights with 24" barrel is deadly at 50+... although Ive never shot one that far.

Ive spent a lot of time patterning. www.oldgobbler.com has a patterning forum with proven combos if you dont want to try more than 1 combo. Gets expensive...

I have shot many turkeys with an 870 with a primos tight wad choke and Remington #4 3inch shells.

this year i'm shooting rem nitro turkey 12ga 3" 1 7/8oz #5 using an rem 26" 870 wingmaster with a wadwizard supreme choke. Can't wait to see how it goes!!
