2010 Indiana Public Land Turkey
Indiana Public Land, 23.5 lbs, forgot my turkey choke and turkey call, and no decoy. I had to purchase a call the night before. All true adventures start with poor planning.

Congratulations Grud! I swear I have the same kind of luck as you...when I forget some important piece of equipment, or something just isn't working out right, that's when I usually have my best success stories! Strange how that works out!

Ain't that the truth... I got a big buck once specifically because I forgot my treestand.
Congrats on the Tom!

It's amazing what I forget sometimes, mabey that would be a good thread. I went to texas once for a hog hunt and forgot my broadheads, bowstring, and tent poles. And it really stinks when you walk a mile and get ready to set up your treestand and realize you forgot your bow.
