I roosted a turkey last night, but couldn't hunt because of work. So yeah, they're still gobbling here in NY.
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

Cool thanks. The weather is horrible in WI. Group got three yesterday, all spot and stalk...seems to be the only way that working now. I didn't hear a single bird gobble yesterday!

I finally got out for the first time in PA this saturday. Works a killer since I can't get out before work, and you can only hunt till noon. And you can't hunt on sunday the one work free day I have right now. Hopefully those regulations change in the near future. Didn't hear a single gobble, but a rainstorm was coming. Was light for an hour and half and the rain came. I don't think the birds ever flew down. Probably the worst day of turkey hunting I've ever had but I usually get done earlier in the season so I don't know if its normal for the birds to be this quiet now.
