That's awesome Ellie! Did you feel the gun kick when you shot him? Your lucky you have such a great dad that takes you hunting. 8-)

Congrats to Ellie and Uncle Lou.....just a great story, brings back so many memories of hunting with our 3 daughters when they were young (all grown and gone now). At the time it seemed it was about "the hunt" but it's so much more than that....just the best of times....priceless. So what's next? Looking forward to your next adventure. :clap: :dance:

Congrats Ellie, make sure you enter your bird in the turkey contest so I can vote for you! Thanks for taking her out Lou, we need more people getting the next generation involved, my hats off to you Sir! I really loved the pic of it soaked in the mud, my dad did that to a jake a few years ago, except his wasn't mud, it was in a field the farmer just spread on!

Now that is hilarious Brad, so he had to hose that off and wear rubber gloves

Not sure if he wore gloves or not but he did have to hose him down real good! The impact blew the bird about 10 feet down into the "slop" :lol: :lol: :lol:
