Carrying gun and bow at the same time illegal?

Unread postby bowhunter15 » Mon Apr 30, 2012 11:55 am

When I went out this morning, I told my camera guy that I wanted to bring both my bow and gun with, and only use the gun as backup if necessary/last resort. He said that it was illegal to carry both at the same time if you only have one tag? Anyone know the ruling on that? Seems like a pretty dumb rule if it's true. This is for MN.

In Wi you can take both, at least I know you can deer hunting as long as both weapons are in season. I assume it would be the same turkey hunting.

I would just call your local CO to be sure.
You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.
