Turkeys breeding
Believe it or not, I was headed out shed hunting this morning and I witnessed two different toms breeding hens. I couldn't believe it. Has anyone else seen this happen this early? This definitely is a weird Spring.

Yes I have, it's normal.
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

Re: Turkeys breeding
I heard a Tom gobbling this morning. Repeatedly one right after the other. I am sure he gobbled 10 consecutive times. I heard another Tom gobbling in the distance. It was around 5:30 this morning. The one Tom seemed rally fired up.

Re: Turkeys breeding
I have seen them strut this early. I have always had good luck earlier the better when the season starts.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
