Re: WI leftover permits
if anyone is going to try toget leftover turkey tags the best way to do it is on the internet right at 10:00 on the date of your zone on the DNR web sight cuz the go really really fast. i have learned this the hard way.

Re: WI leftover permits
Time period 3 goes fast, but there are a lot more tags than lat year for time period 3. I don't even apply for anything other than season one anymore because I know there are so many left overs. I will be buying a 4th and 5th and 6th for sure to go along with my 1st season, hope to smoke one with a bow. With any luck I can get a 3rd time zone too.

Re: WI leftover permits
If you can be online at 10am you are guaranteed to get a permit. I got one once for time period 3 when there was only a couple hundred left. I closed my transaction, and had to re-log in, it was 10:02 and when I got logged back in it was down from 300-something to about 50. I still got one though. Just be online at 10am and you will be fine. I will be getting a permit for zone 3 and zone 2 both in the earliest available time slots.
