Stalking has always been considered taboo, but it is an effective technique and can be done safely if you use common sense. I have stalked a few birds over the years, I prefer to call them in, but some springs they don't respond well depending on the time of year and stalking is more productive.

Never tried it or had any interest in it personally. Turkey hunting for me is all vocal for me and with a shotgun. If turkeys didn't gobble and get my heart rate up, it would be like shooting a chicken.plus I hunt big woods, public and stalking would not be wise.

I am definitely pro stalking. If they cooperate and come in that is cool, but sometimes you gotta take the action to them.
