Went out this morning and filmed a friend.... The tom hung up at about 100 yards with a couple hens. Given er another try tomorrow. 8-)

Went out this afternoon... Not much action. Tried to sneak up near a couple toms strutting with hens but got busted.

All done for week of 4/17, now I am waiting to go once again week 5/12 thru 5/15 with new bow and arrows.

p.s. birds werent too active...
some mushrooms were out (22lbs-- 8-)

Hunted Wednesday til 10:30am then had to head to work. Birds were not active at all. No gobbling on roost :shock:

Only heard two gobbles at 6am! I saw 12 birds riding around from spot to spot. One for sure Tom and a jake with him. Tried to set up on these birds and there was another car parked there

So I came back to that spot later and had no luck.I have to work til 10 tonite then fly north to the shack, sleep fast and get ready for a Friday til Sunday hunt 8-)

I went out today with huntinfool and am going this weekend with solocam 88 too. I heard only a few gobbles this morning and saw a few hens. Then I went driving around and ended up seeing 2 toms both on neighbors property, I tried to stalk one but he must have seen me. In all I saw about 7 hens 2 toms and 2 jakes, not a bad morning but I need to get back out there soon!

I was out with Dave today and we worked about 8 different toms.. only got one to gobble. Even the lone Toms seemed uninterested...
