Last night Arrowbender and I spent some time reviewing trail camera photos and timing. We are trying to catch the cycle of activity right on for the opener Thursday so I decided to take a half day off at work today and freshen up the baits. Since Saturday morning both of my baits were again hit well. I set a trail camera up on the bait that did not have one and pulled the SD card on the other. A new batch of 610 photos was a pleasant surprise. It looks like one of the regular bears has made this home. He doesn't seem shy about coming during daylight...
One of the bears decided to try out the taste of my bait sign as indicated by the nice new holes in my sign...
Good luck to all the hunters Thursday!
