I'm not hunting this year. It will be in the near future. Want to know if anyone knows the areas of the state and which area possibly has better bear harvest opportunity.

You’ll have no problem shooting a bear in northern Marinette county from what I’ve seen.

I think there are a lot of factors at play. You can pick awful spots just about anywhere. But in either Forest or Marinette County you should see plenty of bear if you pick a good spot.

Here is photo of 2019 harvest data. While it doesn't necessarily mean bear density, it certainly can paint a picture. You could also reach out to the county carnivore specialist at the DNR. They gave me great information when I chose where to hunt in the past.
