Great hunt Dan! Congrats! Throwing that milkweed at ground level has been a game changer for me. Like you said the wind looks like it is doing one thing but conditions might be making it do another! Thanks for the video!

Nice bear -nice hat - congrats :)

I don't know how many times this year I hunted an area where the wind was totally different than at the parking area or what the weather app stated. Using milkweed has changed my entire approach to hunting in the last 7 years.... this is another reason to keep a log and take general weather site info with a grain of salt. I really don't even put any faith in old weather history much anymore when correlating with my trail cameras as the woods and topography just changes things far too much. And it is also why I have really cut down on prepping trees and just climb and hunt based off what I see happening real time.

Just this weekend I was showing my daughter as we were walking a hilly powerline how many times the wind changed as we crossed topography.

Great hunt. Really cool video.

Gotta admit it was a little rough to listen to.

The footage at the end was amazing.

Absolutely loved that one. I watched it on Jesus' birthday and had to go right after. Actually held the family up for a few and didn't have time to comment.
