Looks good! Most everyone around here is really struggling. Huge amounts of natural foods and lots of rain is really hurting the baiting. I made a few calls yesterday and everyone I talked to is saying the same thing for zone 45.

I’m in 12, there was a pretty good blueberry crop but spotty, seems to not be much choke cherry. The limited oaks we have are loaded

My son got his first bear last night. It was a dry sow dressed 225, should eat well.
He did good. Opted for the rifle and dropped it with one well placed shot from his 7mm-08. He claims he stayed calm..... no one was there to see though!

One bear processed. The hide is in the freezer awaiting a trip to the tannery. We extracted the teeth or tooth last night, it only had one. The front teeth are seriously worn too so it will be interesting to see the age.
