Blonde Ambition...

Hundreds of hours, dozens of hunts, 8 years of hunting all over North America trying to kill the Grand Slam of all four color phase bears with a bow. It finally happened. BOOOOM!!!!

Wow! He's a beast! I've never been bear hunting but for some reason I'm yearning for a cinnamon black bear!

I shot the cinnamon in 2014. This bear was killed about 100 miles northwest of Wollaston Lake, Saskatchewan. Waaaay the heck up there.

I cannot be sure since there is not a record keeping organization for such things, but as far as I know, I'm the first person to set out to kill all four major color phases with a bow and accomplish it. I know a few people have done it with a firearm.

Two magazines are planning to run the story and some websites. I will be putting the video on my YouTube channel this week - Bowhunting Road.

I am still in a state of shock that it finally happened.
