I really don't have the room for a full body mount, and they are pretty darn spendy. I was leaning towards a 3/4 mount but I got a facebook message from a taxidermist who is interested in mounting it life size and entering it into some competitions. That may change my mind after I talk to him about the details.

If you go that route, my advice is to just make sure the taxi does good work and is more of a seasoned competitor and not a beginner starting to compete.

Great looking bear, congrats.
I think Ralph and Vicki from Archers Choice were chasing all color phases and Vicki accomplished it if my memory is correct.

Since you have reached your goal you must be ready to hang up the bow and start guiding new guys eh?

I'm happy to help out new guys, in fact I am usually baiting for friends or family when I do not have a tag in Minnesota and I will continue to hunt in Ontario each year. I have a list of outfitters who have invited me to come to their camps in exchange for a story and a youtube video, but I do believe I will be cutting back on the travelling to hunt. 3-4 bear hunts a year is just too much.
Interestingly one of the first things to hit me hard when I killed the blonde was the thought, "what now???" Wasn't really prepared for that. We will see as time progresses. But one thing is for sure, there are other things I have not been able to do during August and September the past few years (elk and pronghorn are two examples) so that will factor into my decision.
