I had hunters with 4 points not draw and hunters with 3 draw. I check for them, so it’s not bs. Points creep is getting bad.

That doesn't seem right. I thought MN has a preference system like WI where the person with the most points gets the tag. Last year anyone in Unit 31 with 4 or more points drew and 67% of those with 3 points drew.

I don't know much about group applications in MN but I thought I read somewhere that the preference level for a group is whatever the person with the least number of points is. Maybe the guys with 4 points were part of a group with people who had less than 4 points?

I think you are correct MM. Anyone with four points should of drew in 31 sending in solo.

That all depends on how many apps came in this spring for 31.

Jim
I'd look into it further if you had hunters draw with 3 but not 4 points. Somethings not adding up. Maybe they applied as a group with someone that had 3 or less points or something else went wrong.
If not the group issue talk to someone like the big game director to see if you can get a good explanation

Points creep is killing us. I did not draw, I now have 5 points.

Had 11 bears on one trail camera behind my house in one night this weekend. We are covered up in bears, and I can't get a tag. The guys running this show are really screwing this us big time.

Never mind! The site isn't down. My phone was acting goofy. I just texted the rest of the group to have them check if they get drawn. I didn't get drawn but hoping to try for a surplus tag if they are available.
