MN DIY hunt is looking good

Unread postby Tru2life » Fri Aug 18, 2017 2:57 am

Got my baits out on opener and all baits were hot within 36 hours and are being pounded daily. Have one big ol guy coming along with sow and cubs and smaller boars. I'm happy so far with how things are turning out but still a few weeks left until the season. I'm in the AF in texas right now but dad is checking cameras for me (which he struggles with...lol) and baiting daily for me. Got to love a retired dad that lives the woods! Would not make it happen without his help. Anyone else out in MN no quota having any luck?

Good luck! I'll be up in the Boundary Waters trying my luck with honey burns and a brother n law who is afraid of bears.

My boys and I are in zone 51. We checked our baits on Tuesday and 4 of 7 were hit pretty hard. We'll be rebaiting on Saturday again and checking cams. Can't wait to see what is showing up!!

Good luck bigbuck! No good pics today. Dad forgot to turn one camera on and the other had the sow and her three cubs. Baiting daily so I'll keep ya posted
