Now you know why some Sows will avoid certain bait stations especially with big boars near bye, but I think this might happen more than we realize.

Agreed. I often have sows and cubs on my baits in the early baiting season, but rarely in the late season. I can see that being a huge benefit of baiting the same areas each year. If the set up and location is right, you can have a perennial spot to hold big bears. I wish I could bait some of these spots every year. I see the benefit. I also see another less appreciated value of going through a good guide. You have the luxury of doing this every year. I'm jealous!

Believe me its not always fun & games...but it is, as they say, better than a day in the office :D Many times I have witnessed when a Sow with cubs come in to a bait station, she will sit off to the side and just watch, keep an eye out for danger (other bears) while her cubs fill there little bellies.

Truth. More people than ever are disconnected with nature. Perhaps if they hung "cub safe zone" sign in the woods it would give them some comfort rather than acknowledging the risk will always be there.
