Good Tips etc. Would like to see a how to bear video for specific States as rules and regulations are and can be so different.

Good idea Mike, they are even different within states. For example, I think the bacon would be illegal in Wisconsin, and in Minnesota, we can use barrels on private land but not on public land. In Wisconsin, you can hang a rag soaked in bear lure, but that is illegal in Minnesota.

Nice video. Do you have issues with wolves when you use meat baits like bacon?

I have had issues with wolves from time to time, but normally you can minimize wolves taking over a bait if you just quit using the meat once they arrive. I use a lot of beef fat as you see in the video, but I only add it to the bait once the bait is being hit every day by bears. It not only attracts wolves but it spoils quickly in warm weather so I only use meat scraps when I know the bears will clean it up quickly.
