2016 Bear hunt report

Hey guys, if you didn't already start your own bear thread feel free to add to this one. How'd your bear hunt go?
See anything?

I went on my first hunt today. I quit work 2 hrs early and headed out to the marshy forest. As I got close to my bait I seen glimpses of black moving. I'm pretty sure it was the sow and her 3 cubs running away, this was at 2pm. I won't get to check my card till tommorow, The weather was awesome. I sat, crouched and laid down on the ground for over 5 hrs. The last hour of light I kept thinking about this bear

I was a little nervous, wondering if I could keep it together if he showed up tonight, or any bear for that matter, BUT nothing came to the bait, oh well. I got until Oct 11th. I won't be able to hunt until next week. Good luck out there guys.

I hunted the first 2 nights and saw 4 does and 6 coons. Pretty slow. One bait is still getting hit. The other is becoming a deer magnet. Basically all my hopes are probably on that one bait

Had one come in on my bad side tonight. Heard him break a twig looked over my shoulder and there he was 20 yards, couldn't get turned on him fast enough and he never came in to the bait. He was downwind but never acted spooked. I think he was a 1.5 not sure if I'll hunt there or hit my other bait tomorrow
