No one else is killing the size bears they are, or getting the opportunity % they are in Wisconsin over bait... And, if it were anybody else the price would be 3 times higher for those results...

Mike Foss and lead guide Robert will put you on bears guaranteed. If you book early enough you may still be able to book with Mike himself since he cutting way back with how many he books. Sounded like he was only taking 5 hunters next season but Robert will still be taking many more since he is in the process of taking over the business. Either way you will have a quality hunt you won't forget as both are great guys and work extremely hard to make your hunt a success.

As long as it takes to get a tag in WI make the best of it. Don't try to save money and go with someone else that's only out to fill their pockets and don't genuinely care if you fill your tag or not.

You can book before you draw, but I would contact Mike or Robert and make sure they have room this fall before doing anything else... I think everyone still camps at his place?

Mike has way more people wanting hunts than he takes hunters... I told him long ago to raise his price to meet supply and demand and his comeback was he wants regular guys to be able to afford his hunts... If he can't squeeze you in, he can probably recommend you another outfitter... He knows most of them up there, and who is good, and who blows smoke.

For a good bear hunt in WI, you should expect to pay around $1500. I would not be able to offer a great quality hunt for anything cheaper. I tend to go overboard but that's what makes a good guide.
