Re: NWO Bear Hunt
I had a great time at NWO. Mike and Robert run a top notch operation there and do everything in their power to make sure you have a successful hunt. A common theme I heard from the hunters was how efficient the whole operation was run. When somebody shot a bear the crew showed up in record time to track and get the bear back to camp. Most times skinning and quartering was done on all of the bears before I even got back from my evening hunt. Fast and efficient is an understatement and much appreciated due to the extremely warm weather we had early on. Those guys are truly the best I have ever seen.
The hunting lodge was awesome and met some great people in camp. The excitement getting back to camp every night to see what was killed or stories of the one's that got away are memories that can never be taken away. Very cool and especially enjoyed hearing the excitement from the first time bear hunters who killed or even just saw their very first bear. That's what it's all about right there.
Even though I didn't kill a bear yet I had plenty of opportunities. Considering the amount of natural food along with the late start after hounds it's amazing the success guys had in camp. I have some unfinished business so planning to get back up before the season ends.

Re: NWO Bear Hunt
Heck ya I would be hunting until the tag is filled......would hold out for a big one too.
Even just hunting weekends or whenever your days off are. Can't be more than a 5-6 hour drive?
