Hard Caramel
I was wondering if anybody knew where I could find some 5 gal. buckets of hard caramel for bear bait. My buddy wanted some and he said the bears by him love it. What he dose is put one in the bottom of a 55 gal. drum with his other stuff on top and when the bear eat everything else they will keep sticking their arm in the barrel to get the caramel but can only get a little at a time on there paws and under their claws. I can travel into WI and to Northern Lower Mi.

Re: Hard Caramel
I may have found a place. I am going to pick some bait up from a place as early as this week or next week, they advertise caramel. I am then running it to the UP around Manistique.
I will find out for sure if they have it this week, PM a phone number and we can see if we can work something out.

Re: Hard Caramel
I just spoke with the guy and all he said he had was 4'x4' totes of the hard taffy. Those are a bit big for me to move around, as I've already had a "less than ideal " experience with a big tote like that this year.
