Here is the bait site that I'm renting from my guide. He only baits out there once per week and only uses 5 gallons. I want the bears to get used to my scent and I want them to have more than just 5 gallons per week. I went out there on the 5th around 330 pm and dumped 5 gallons of my own mixture and hauled in a better heavier cap. Monroe county , WI bear.

Not much activity at my "rented " site. I didn't dump any of my own bait out there this past week. No daytime pics. Maybe the Loggers have something to do with that.

I havnt even been out hunting yet. My guide has no September pics so far at my spot. They have been doing a lot of logging out there recently :( I went out to my own bait site on Saturday just to check cam and rebait. Not very good pics, blurry, I think it's the same one. As I was walking on the gated dnr only road, some kid drove up to me on a go cart and told me somethin about his brother bear hunting out there. I told him to be careful not to get a ticket from a warden for driving that go cart. He said, "yeah I know but it's such a long walk". I think I under estimated the hunting pressure. It's impossible for me to bait midday on the week days unless I skip work.

Only nite pics. My guide ain't gettin any daylight pics and neither I'm i. I tried something different today, I baited my site this morning and a bear was there a hour prior. I can't bait midday on weekdays. I put out 5 gallons of good bait this time. Hoping this weekend I can get my 2nd hunt in, this time off the ground in my alpha. this 2nd pic u can see a black blotch on the right, that's him then a pic of me

In 2012 only one bear was legally killed in Monroe County, WI. In 2013 eight were. I swear this could be considered SW wisconsin to some people
