Heading out here In the next 2 to 3 hours for my bear hunt. I picked up a nasty cold a few days ago. I feel like crap and can hardly breath. Talk about bad timing eh??? Last weekend on our 2nd check we went 11 for 12 so It was nice gaining 2 more hits from the 9 we had the weekend before. 4 of the 12 hits are hitting In the daylight fairly well, the other 7 went very nocturnal. Kinda bites with all the night hitting but we'll see what happens this week hunting. We all picked our baits Saturday evening after we checked them all. The picture below Is the bait I'll be hunting to start out with. He looks to be a decent bear. So far there's been 2 bear hitting this bait but this bear has been the consistent one so far at this bait. Hopefully footage will be had!!
