Not till I got back to truck and plugged chip into Laptop. It was thundering, lighting and downpouring so bad I dont think the bear even heard the wheeler coming. I bet it took me 2-4 mintures to unload the wheeler and walk in. I think he was looking to see where the noise was coming from.. I dont bait past 4pm but I had a ladder stand in there and the tree blew over in a wind storm and turned it into a pretzel. We killed 2 bears off that bait, including the one in the cam pic.

Here's a few more. I finally have time to wade through years of cam photos. I making yearly albums and saving to external hard drive. I'm putting the years, and bait site names filed in own albums.

Oh bears I've known. Like a trip down memory lane. I can recall all the clients who sat what baits those years.

The last pic is a client in a tree that had this bear come in.

Great stuff and some nice bears.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

This is the bear that came in on opening day 2012. My son had a tag here in Wisconsin. It came in just before dark and knocked the logs off the bait and walked into the brush. By the time it came back it was a bit past closing so we didn't shoot it. Chas, at 15 was not ready for the shot it gave him in th brush. It was a lot bigger than the bear he got 2 days later.Image

The bear he got was 206 pounds.
