I wasn't successful but had a whole chest freezer with me.

I don't have one to spare, or any space in the truck for a freezer

I bought a HUGE cooler from WalMart that fills the entire back seat of my Honda Civic. I was able to get a boned out cow elk w/ plenty of ice. I bet I could put two boned out bears in it no problem.

We have two of those. I shot a boar in Texas a couple years ago that was 220# and it didn't take up a boat load of space after it was quartered. I kept the head just in case too....I figured those would be plenty, but I wasn't sure b/c I've never shot a bear before and don't know what to expect for how much meat you'd get. Thought the hide could be rolled up with head and fit in a somewhat compact space, but again I'm just a rookie.

Thanks for responses guys, much appreciated.
