Bear Down!

Unread postby Boo » Thu Sep 06, 2012 12:37 am

I was finally drawn for area 51 in Minnesota this year. I put on lots of miles driving up north to bait. I had three baits and all were getting hit regularly at all times of the day. On opening day I was unable to go and check all of the cameras to see what the best bait was for activity and size of bears coming in so I had to pick one and sit it. I finally got set up around 5pm (way later than I wanted) and this bear came in at 6:35! It went about 75 yards after the shot and weighted 217 pounds dressed.

Nice one Boo.

That's awesome Boo! You sure know how to put them down. Deer, bear it doesn't matter. Nothing is safe when Boo is in the woods. :D
