Lost in Saskatchewan, a Daily bear hunting Journel

Unread postby Mike Foss » Tue May 22, 2012 1:50 pm

Come along with Willy11674 and I on our exciting bear hunt in Saskatchewan Canada :dance: . Starting this Wednesday (5/23/2012) follow us with our day to day bear hunting journal on the Beast. The only way we can pass on the daily updates and pictures is through text messaging. Carol Infalt will be adding the information each day to this thread. There is little cell phone coverage and no laptops or PCs. We might have to travel some distance to get you the daily updates. We are hoping this works so please Bear with us. If this doesn't work from Canada we will share our story on the Beast when we return. Wish us Luck......

From Mike Foss and Willy11674;

Currently just got on the road. We're headed on our way right now.

Will be more when we get to Winnipeg.

Pictures to come.

Mine and I just got to winnipeg. I'm not sure if we will be able to do the daily updates. It will depend on the coverage we get near bear camp. We will update Carol when we can. The guide Roger talked to us today on the phone, he said he had a real nice blonde bear coming into the bait. Fingers crossed!

Just got to the hotel ok winnipeg. Had to stop at the cabelas in grand forks because mike forgot his safety harness. Got stopped at the border but didn't get much of a hassle. 6 more hours tomorrow then at camp. Texting isn't working right now so we will keep our fingers crossed for tomorrow. Using hotel wifi right now.
