Not sure if this is the case out west but the F&G department has been touting bear awakening early this spring.
I think it could be good for adding weight with more awake time, but with a dry winter season I wonder how nutricious the food will be to pack the calories on?
Any thoughts?

Never heard of It. My opinion on It, I think their wrong In doing so. Never mess with mother nature. They know what their doing.

Schultzy, I think you misunderstood Ed... He says the bears are coming out of hibernation early and is wondering how it will effect there weight and health...

Oops!!! I thought I might of miss understood. I wouldn't worry much about It then.
