MN Application Deadline??

Unread postby bowhunter15 » Sun Dec 04, 2011 5:05 am

I can't find this ANYWHERE on their site, and I've been looking for a while. Maybe I looked right past it, I don't know. But if anyone knows the application date that'd be awesome.

It's typically May 1 or around there and te applications won't open for quite a few months yet. I always apply before I go on my turkey hunts. Hope this helps

how does the minnesota bear hunt work exactly for out of state hunters? I was interested in doing one next year and i heard that the tag is $250 for 2 bears in most counties. No idea if this is true or not and i didnt know if the outfitters there filled up pretty quickly and far in advance. Any help is appreciated.

I don't think so... But why would you? You get a tag almost every year.

Most of the bear areas you have to apply to hunt and get one tag. Its about $201 if you draw a tag.
You can buy tags for about $201 over the counter in the non-quota area. There is a 2 bear limit in the non-quota area. But you would need to buy two tags. There is some public in the non-quota, but not much. Most of it is private. In the draw area there is lots of public.

Yes. Permit number 99 I believe. Check on that for sure though.
