Wisconsin application deadline 12-10-11

Time is running out. Deadline is 12-10-11
Picked up my 10th point. I don't have a ton of interest for more bears, but I think my son will love this hunt in few years. I plan on saving this hunt for him.

Ok, so after 12-10-11, you are applying for next year, correct ? I applied for mine back in March 2011 for the first time... so now after 12-10-11 I can apply again, right ?

For the first time ever..... I applied. Thanks for the tip. To be completely honest, I really have zero interest in bear hunting. None. At least in the past, but who knows. Maybe in 5 or 6 years that will change and then I am wishing I did all these past years. That's why I applied. That and I am not really sure where I would go. We do have some bears around the cabin but I don't like having them around to begin with. The idea of drawing them in and keeping them THERE doesn't float my boat. It is pretty residential where I know them to be. Well, redidential as any lake up there gets. Where we deer hunt we have seen bear sign in the past but very, very limited. Like we cut a track about every 4 years. One. That kind of limited. Am I sounding like a lazy hunter right now?? I hope not.

It's cheap enough to apply for the point only, so why not. Thanks again for the heads up. Maybe I will donate it like that other guy did when I get enough points. That's years down the line. Worry about that when it comes to it.

I have access to 400 acres in Krivitz, WI through family.

I'm on my 3rd year so I only have 3 points. I'm not that stoked about bear hunting at the moment but I figured I should start now if I ever want to in the future!
