This area forms a deep, thick valley where the deer can practically hide anywhere. It's pretty difficult to hunt b/c it is so thick due to previous loggings. Food plots are located on the flatter spots to the Northwest which are frequented by plenty of does and younger bucks. However, it seems as though the big mature bucks hide in this valley b/c it is so thick and they never have to deal with humans.
The pick area is where coal was stripped many years ago. This area separates the steep mountains from the valley below.

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Re: Potential Bedding Areas
Interesting area, I am no hill country expert but you look to have a lot of bedding options with all those points. I think I would focus above the coal/stipped areas and scout out all the points. They should use different beds depending on the wind so that will help you narrow things down if you find several buck beds up there.
