1st Beast Post - Private Land feedback

Unread postby t_kasprzak » Mon Dec 17, 2018 1:29 pm

Hey All,

Been following Dan and THP on YouTube for a better part of a year, completely hooked. I have been hunting a piece of private land in WI for 10 years and have had moderate success. Mainly due to sitting all day in an old permanent stand and getting lucky enough for a buck to walk by.
I moved to TX 6 years ago and make the 20 hr. drive every year to hunt the Rut. Would love to hear from everyone on how they would systematically hunt this piece. Property boundaries are in red. Thanks!

In my amateur opinion that South eastern corner of the property looks to be a bedding area. If I were rut hunting I would get in their early on the down wind side of any known doe bedding for the rut and sit tight for bucks cruising.
