Wisconsin Marsh?

Unread postby WiWhitetail » Sun Oct 28, 2018 12:20 pm

Decided it is time to try beast style hunting. I have a large Marsh close to my house that seems like a good place to start. I just ordered all of the beast DVDs and hope to start watching them after I get back to Wisconsin. I am traveling.

This property is located just north of Marshfield WI. It is the McMillian Marsh. Looking at where I should start looking for beds.

I'm in the same boat as you....I will be scouting my first public areas this spring. I think from what I have seen Dan and others say...print off the map and draw all of your transition lines...cattails to dogwood, dogwood to hardwoods, etc. Then just walk those lines. Look for points and islands as well.

Where are you in WI?

I would watch that marsh video you ordered, it will answer way better than we can put into print.
