Possible Bedding Areas Part 2

Unread postby wappkid » Wed Jan 26, 2011 3:40 pm

This area I have really been wanting to scout seriously for a long time. I have hunted here a couple of times. This area is nasty. I know there are big bucks there just because of how hard the area is to hunt. And not many people bowhunt there. Its right next to state ground that does not allow hunting. So I think this place has potential. Thanks

Yeah its a tough area. But I went on a brutal elk hunt last Sept.We started out at 7600 ft with 80lb packs and hiked 8 miles to 12000 ft where we hunted for 9 days and got skunked. But it was an experience.I learned a lot on my trip especially that my pack was at least 30-35lbs too heavy. On areas like this you just have to take it slow. And it keeps me in shape.Thats the plan throw on the pack and see what happens.
