Extra Insight appreciated

Unread postby WidowMaker77 » Mon Sep 12, 2016 6:22 am

Hey fellow hunters,

I have some land that insight would be appreciated, I've seen mature bucks in the past hunting this farm but mainly see yearlings. I have multiple stand hung, from previous years and have moved several around this year from scouting and everything found so far after last years hunting season. I've had luck at most of these stands with basket 8's and have found a couple mature deer over there years at these bedding spots, but looking to see if ou have any insight on where the best bedding spot would be for the mature bucks of this are.

New here so not sure how to make the pictures directly appear in the thread.

Thanks!

Ya, usually try to go out on just the best days that we have available. But one of maybe 2-3 people hunting it (depends on if it's bow or gun season). Also hunt the top left portion of the topo map, only 2 stands up there.

both neighbors hunt also though. They seem to put a bit of pressure on these deer. Which is why i try to hunt little as possible give them some actual bedding that's not pressured much

Figure out where the neighbors hunt and figure out how the deer avoid them.
