Unread postby Ram14 » Wed Jan 13, 2016 8:12 am

Im new to this site and have only been bow hunting for about 3 years.I hunt on 40 acres that i own in northern Wi.It is totally surounded by public. My whole life has been just going out and sitting on a trail and maybe something will walk by.The last couple years i made a food plot and have been hunting that. This last year on noveber 7th i got my first buck with my bow.A 3 and a half year old 10 pointer.I an
m now hooked on finding more deer.I do hunt the public around me but have no idea where to start my scouting when theres thousands of acres.

Anyone? I went out scouting in spring found a few beds in the snow, looked to be a small doe group.Acctually within about 100yards of my food plot. There was no sign of deer at all around the one ridge around me.Not one track even.
