Late Season Acquisition(Map Suggestion)

Unread postby kwaldeier » Fri Nov 28, 2014 4:52 pm

Brother in law just informed me that he had a piece of land that i could hunt. Excited because deer season is still going on now!! Usually i get permission in the middle of summer and have to wait to scout. I plan on swinging by and checking it out. He says it was beans this year. I assume they are harvested but if they were not that would be better! Then once we get a good snow i will look for beds, travel, etc. What areas would you guys suggest?? Seem to be a lot of pinch points and a few good bedding spots on the SE section.

I think dan usually marks buck bedding on the inside bends of the creek on something like this. Set up observation stand watching for bed to food movement out of the inside creek bends?

Red and blue would be bedding locations... I would expect the bucks to be in the blue spots in late season
