Need Help Finding Buck Beds / Treestand Locations

Unread postby tcop7 » Wed Apr 30, 2014 2:34 pm

Would like some help finding where you think the buck beds would be in this property that I hunt and maybe where you might set up some treestands. The blue boarder in the satellite picture is the edge of the property that I have permission to hunt on.

fROM WHAT YOU SHOW IN THE PICTURES IRS REALLY HARD TO DECIPHER... I would check out the island areas along the creek, the inside bends might have bedding, but I would bet I could give a much better answer with more zoomed in aerials.

Here are some pictures that I was able to zoom in on. If you need me to zoom in some more on the satellite image just let me know (that was the furthest I could zoom in and have all of the woods that I hunt in the whole picture). The spots that look like islands on the topo map aren't actually islands. The creek only flows like that when it floods, when it's not flooded it flows straight between the 2 "island areas" on the map. Hopefully this helps, I really appreciate your time and help!

Its a hard map to decipher without putting boots on the ground. From the maps all I can see is the inside bends on the river and possible field edge bedding on the East and south ends of the wood lot...
