Topo quiz
Think of this as a quiz that I'm handing into get graded. I marked out the bedding areas I feel would hold deer. I'm going to be heading out to scout some of these areas soon. I'm wondering if my elevations are in that top 1/3 of the mountain and if I'm getting the hang of reading these topo maps. Thanks for all the help!

Re: Topo quiz
I think you are doing well with topo reading. looks like you found the 1/3rd elevation line, which is usually the primary elevation line that will tell you the elevation.

Re: Topo quiz
Looks good... one of your elevations looks a little low, but most arte right on with elevation and where bedding should be on the point marked.

Re: Topo quiz
I saw that too Black Squirrel. Here's a question though, the saddle on the right (the one that has BIG in lettering by it) has a river, a four lane highway, then on the east followed by a creek in the way before a deer was to cross it do you or anyone think that this would be a less or more productive saddle to hunt given these parameters?
