My Clover Food Plots

Unread postby AC Rider » Thu Aug 19, 2010 3:23 am

I haven't seen any clover food plot pics lately so I thought I'd post mine...

Plot #1

Plot #2
Here's two pics of the same plot. I left the middle wild with clover running around the outer edge. Sorry for the fuzzyness - the humidity was getting to my camera that day.

Man that look good!! I just mowed mine down today, that will be the last time this year. I am going to try and put some fertalizer on it yet this year. I hope mine looks like yours come the end of September thru November.

Looks like that'd be a good spot to start for opening weekend! Any white oaks nearby would help out too!!!

Looks excellent. I love the way you have it tucked into the woods. I do the same sort of situation with mine, although mine is surrounded by corn, it gives the presence of security because one side is corn and the other is woods.

Unfortunately, I'm just getting does on my cameras. it seems like a horrible year in Northern MN. I will check them this weekend after a 3 week soak - I'm hoping a buck or too has moved in.

I'll mow them this weekend for the second and last time. There will be new and tender growth for opener. I'll also put some fertilizer down to help. Come November, clover isn't very attractive in my neck of the woods.
