I have 2.0 acre area to turn up the ground and make into a food-plot.
Anyone please tell me or suggest to me where I can rent or purchase a rototiller for tractor or ATV....
I live in Hales Corners, Wisconsin.
I tried Home Depot, Tru-value, etc.....

2 acres is a lot of tilling. Are you sure you want to go that route?

You might be able to rent a disk or tiller from your local soil conservation office or a sportsmans group like Pheasants Forever, Whitetails Unlimited, etc. A rental place may have something too. I rented a Kabota with a 4' tiller from a local rental business once to mix the lime in real good because I was putting on 6 ton an acre (max recommended rate is 4 ton when working it in). It worked out real nice. It brought the pH up quick and I had an awesome crop that year (corn & soybeen mix). A rototiller does the best job of preparing the soil. Especially when you are amending it for the first time, but a disk is more versatile and will allow you to cover broadcasted seed like corn and soybeans.
You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

A farmer friend? couple hundred cash
THeir is a rental place by me that has a compact tractor and 4 ft tiller. I know the tractor is around 160.00 day and the tiller (100ish?) is extra. the trailer to get it their extra like around 50.00 day. 2 acres is more tractor size I would go 1 acre and under for atv disc It can be done but I would do it in sections and stagger planting. I got that disc for 350 used. I stuck a hundred into it. I made weight tray for blocks, new wheels and painted it.

Tractor and a disc. 2 acre atv plots are too hard on atv equipment and very time consuming. Or pay a farmer to disc it and finish it with the atv.
