Advice on our Lease

Unread postby C&T Archery » Sat Apr 06, 2013 5:11 am

We have had these lease for 2 years now and it's up north on the edge of farm and Big Public woods area. Wanted your advice as to where you think they are bedding, and stand location.

The red is the boundary and it's 40 acres, surrounded by private lands. The yellow is a small ridge top.

We see deer all bow season when the cash cropper has his corn in the field, but once he takes it off, the deer are basically gone or at least the numbers are way down. Any help or suggestions would be great.

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

here's an aerial and topo- consider blocking the lat / lon coordinates if you do not want others finding it.

I would like to be able to zoom in the aerial with google earth, but would need the coords to do so...

The red dots are where I would expect bedding to occur. The blue line is where I would scout for additional bedding... Hunting spots would be set up in relation to the bedding... As close as you can get.
