I'm referring to the wooden snow fence.
You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Dan, what type of snow fence do you like to use?
This guy had the snow fencing with the wooden boards laying around in rolls in his shop, so thats what he used. I don't think it matters too much what type, but the snow fencing is visible and does block you a little too...
No matter what type of fence you use, they will figure out its there and find a way around it. If done right, right thru your funnel and not across your scent trail.

Success!
Ended up needing three rolls of fencing which made about 50yrds. At the end of this fence is the before mentioned waterhole. Should be a great spot for this year.
If I get evidence or pictures of them jumping it, I will double it up.

Re: Turning a seep into a more prominent water source
Here is the next question. With the addition of this new water source, should I continue to fill and maintain my original one ( a 75 gallon water tank)? This older waterhole has been mighty productive but is only about 60-70 yards from the new one and relies on roughly the same movement pattern. The old tank needs filled about three-four times a year.
What do you think?

I would let them take over the pond and use the water tank in a different local.

Not at all. About 30.00 per roll, 50ft per roll. It was a pretty easy installation too. We were mostly able to tie it to trees along the way and where there weren't any good trees we used a T bar.
I made the mistake of posting the project on Facebook..the general public definitely does understand the idea behind putting up a 4ft tall fence to funnel deer movement...
