Bedding ?#3

Unread postby PASwamper » Thu Jun 10, 2010 11:17 am

This one I can only hunt on the right side of the road. I'm most concerned here about where a bed would be in the bigger swamp part. Seems like it could easily be anywhere along the edge marked with a yellow line. Theres kind of that one point on it, and where the small yellow line is looks to be a little bit higher land as well. Not being able to scout it I don't know where I would jump into this one.

I'm trying to find how to do it from acme mapper 2.0, its great but I don't think I can save the picture on there. Is there a different free program for topos that you use?

You need to take a screen shot to save it. If you have windows 7 or Vista just use your snippet tool. Or use a free program like printkey2000.

By the way, for those that don't know how to hide the coordinate box on ACME Mapper, just click on the rotating globe. I have been hearing of numerous people not knowing how to do this so I thought I better post it. I left the coordinates showing on this one because it was just a random spot I picked as an example.

Thanks a bunch Deerslayer! Don't have windows 7 but figured it out from the print key on my keyboard, I was looking all over the menus and trying to select and paste and do all kinds of stuff all the while i just had to hit two keys and go paste it! The topo for this map does not help me much at all, I can't post it here anyway cause of an attachment quota. I got the other two posted so I should be able to get a better idea of where I should be looking.

Thanks a bunch guys!

You may have to use an outside Host, something like photobucket.

That will work for now... Brit host the site. Hopefully she can make more space.
