Went really good man. The place is loaded with deer. On that farm, they really like the bends in the creek for bedding areas. Unfortunately,
I found a couple dead deer that probably died of EHD. One was an absolute giant and dies just feet from his bedding spot. I walked up on the bed and got exciyed until I seen him dead there. Sucks, but it looks like it's happening all over this year.

Kind of a bad cell phone pic but you get the idea. Picture don't do him justice.

The other buck i found on Saturday was a nice 120's eight and the other deer was a doe. Never good finding them like that.

Dan, do you think another buck will use that bed this year? Just wondering if deer will still use that general area with a carcass there. It's a strategic bedding spot.

Yeah, I was kinda let down seeing him lay there. I'll hunt the area this year and find out if another is using the area; all i can do i guess.
