Well yesterday we cleared a couple more trees from the food plot im making. Jeremy and i made hinge cuts in where the bedding area closes to my house is. Sure enough there bedding there dan. Today i went for a walk and found more beds where you said they would be. Later on today were clearing the rest of the trees from the plot and im going to make a couple buck beds on the ridge by the bedding area.

I cant wait to see what that hinge area looks like in spring.

The deer are definitely there, you cant walk five feet in any direction without stepping in a deuce. To the west of the property square is all ag field.

Kenny, mark that creek that runs by the plot and the pond.

Also worth noting, on the bedding area where we did the hinge cuts, it was already fairly thick with mountain laurel. If you access from the bottom, we hinged enough that even now, without green, you couldnt see a hunter coming up.

Sounds great guys... The planning, scouting and work, preparing for hunting season can be as much fun, if not more fun than the actual hunting... I would love to see some pictures of your progress. 8-)
