Saginaw Bay Ice Fishing

It was a beautiful morning out on Saginaw Bay / Lake Huron today- unfortunately the walleyes didn't cooperate. I ended up moving around a half dozen times without a walter to show for it. I ranged from 2 to 6 miles offshore, and covered depths and structure from 15-22 feet. Oh well, that's fishing! Anyone else been out on the Great Lakes Ice?

Here's a few recent pics. from the SagBay to show that I'm not always this unlucky!

Beautiful day out there:

It's been a few years since I chased steelies and browns through the ice- what a riot.
