Walleye Wonder!

Unread postby Singing Bridge » Wed Jun 02, 2010 2:01 pm

Truly a beautiful day on the Saginaw Bay!

My secret for walleye success? Brilliant bright sunshine - fish at high noon during the brightest portion of the day - very clear water - only fish the top ten feet of the thirty feet deep water -

Here's my "Where's Waldo" pic of the day, if you look close you can see a couple of flags sticking up on my inline boards out on the water.

Here's today's two person limit - we kept 10 eaters out of about forty plus walleyes landed over 4 hours - I think the "HBEAST" license plate brought us luck! 8-)

It was a lot of fun- here's our set-up from yesterday:

Purple/Silver crawler harnesses 5 feet behind 1 ounce fish weights, 47 feet setback, trolling speed 1.5 MPH with the bowmount electric on autopilot.

Other productive spinner colors were pink, chartreuse and bubblegum. 8-)
